How Many People Here Still Believe In “God”?

because of this site i realized that there were many people who were active jehovah’s witnesses really didn’t believe in god at all.

i’m curious how many people believe in god?

i’m not interested in debating why you shouldn’t have a belief in a god or should.

RULES & REGULATIONS

I believe in God : the creation of humans, plants, animals, stars, mountains, lakes, oxygen, diversity, earth and the sun, the marvel of giving birth... humans and animals, how a small seed germinates and turns into a tree, human speech, animals that can communicate with sounds that are distinct from one to another, bodies that heel themselves, colors, etc.,etc,....to me there had to be a designer. I don't believe in the big bang theory or everything came from nothing.

I don't believe in God : natural sin, death, diseases, war, famine, poverty, rape, torture, starvation, earthquakes, drought, mental illness, suicide, cancer, going / being born blind, murder, addictions....etc. etc... why does a loving God allow any of these. If God was so upset with such a tiny matter ( supposedly Adam and Eve ate from a tree ) why doesn't it bother him even more on what really resulted from this sin?

I believe Jehovah God and Jesus Christ both are using me, to assist in that effort, to bring key prophetic information to all truth-seeking Jehovah's Witnesses in such an urgent time, when apostasy threatens to destroy the entire nation.

I'm sorry for being so late to the party, GodBless. I already found someone who would assist me in finding the key to prophetic information information to the all truth-seeking Jehovah's Witnesses. If for any reason he fails to deliver, I will contact you.

ken cook was announced today at morning worship as the new member of the governing body.

We are ecstatic to announce our newest member, Brother Kenneth Cook, to the Governing Body family. Brother Cook is an ''anointed brother'' from the Bethel Office in Wallkill. He was a helper on the writing committee
There was lots of speculation about him. We wish to put those rumors to rest. He is soft spoken, a people person, pleasurable, makes everyone feel relaxed, and will rubber stamp any matter that will be placed in front of him. We didn't ask for any holy spirit on making this decision because Brother Cook stood out from a very long list of candidates. May Jehovah bless our Bethel family and continue to pour his holy spirit upon you and your family!

11 Since Jehovah God and Jesus Christ completely trust the faithful and discreet slave, should we not do the same? After all, the slave has shown itself to be faithful in doing its assigned work. For example, the Watchtower magazine has been published for some 130 years. Meetings, assemblies, and conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses continue to build us up spiritually.

Jehovah God and Jesus completely trust the ''faithful and discreet slave.'' Where is the evidence? How did they find out?

God trusts a group of men from New York.....really? Men who claim divine approval with no real evidence.

yet that same book is so easily misunderstood by billions of people worldwide...

God supplies his ''active force '' upon a few men 2000 years to write the Bible. This book has so many interpretations and meanings, thousands of religions are started. I'm sure that was his whole intention!

He then pores his ''holy spirit'' upon a mere man Charles Taze Russell. He then starts writing books and starts a magazine so members can really understand the true meaning of the Bible.

So, God has a Bible written but it really needs a weekly magazine to make sense of what the Bible really means! AMAZING!

The Watchtower Study is not real Bible study. It is a study to introduce WTBTS beliefs,doctrines, and practices. Just think for a moment! If you just read Bible scriptures alone, the Watchtower Society could never introduce this gem from the Watchtower 1981 Dec 1 p.27. This magazine is studied weekly by millions of Jehovah's Witnesses all over the world. It is read and and discussed as if it really comes from the Bible. The Watchtower Study is a another manner for the Governing Body to replace Jesus and introduce any rule, regulation, policy, belief, doctrine, practice it wants. It is used only to ingrain it into everyone's brain.

"But Jehovah God has also provided his visible organization, his "faithful and discreet slave", made up of spirit-anointed ones, to help Christians in all nations to understand and apply properly the Bible in their lives. Unless we are in touch with this channel of communication that God is using, we will not progress along the road to life, no matter how much Bible reading we do." Watchtower 1981 Dec 1 p.27

Best way to deal with anger at the GB while waking up?

good morning everyone , .

i am wondering how people have personally delt with the anger at the gb when waking up and realizing it’s a scam, lie , and it’s awfully depressing .

i have had difficulty concentrating at work , have had an emotional roller coaster between okay days and awful days.

I am wondering how people have personally dealt with the anger at the GB when waking up and realizing it’s a scam, lie , and it’s awfully depressing .

I blame myself and my mother for believing in this scam and lies coming from these so-called Faithful and Discreet Slaves. I blame my uncle who started a Bible study 50 years ago with the Jehovah's Witnesses and passing it along to his sisters (one of them was my mom). I blame my uncle and mom for never doing any research on the Jehovah's Witnesses since they came from a Catholic upbringing. They never made it past 8th grade( they were born around World War II). They weren't brought up to read or write. As a matter of fact, the only reading material they ever had was Watchtower material.

I blame myself for believing that the Governing Body were the mouthpieces for Jesus and Jehovah. They alone could interpret the bible. I was told that we needed to study all the material they provided for my salvation. I was made to believe that the Ministry School, Watchtower Study, attending conventions, personal study, and field service was to make me a better person and follower of Jesus. All it did was make me follow a group of men from New York.

You feel better after you find out that the Governing Body have no clothes.

Memories of my mom and fellow members who are no longer here

this photo makes me a little sad.

it brings back memories of my mom who passed away last year.

also,there are so many members who have passed away, it really hits home how life continues without this so called new system arriving ''any time soon.''.

This photo makes me a little sad. It brings back memories of my mom who passed away last year. Also,there are so many members who have passed away, it really hits home how life continues without this so called New System arriving ''any time soon.''

I became inactive ten years ago and stopped attending meetings altogether the last four years . I had to be true to myself and stop pretending I was still a Jehovah's Witness. The mental anguish was too much for me to continue this farce.

I was taken off the Ministry School, stopped field service, didn't answer at any Watchtower studies, arrived before the start of the meeting and left as soon as possible. I just knew I didn't belong there any longer.

My mom loved being a Jehovah's Witness. It probably broke her heart to see me in this condition. She would sit in front of me and always asked me if I had the latest Watchtower magazine or Our Kingdom Ministry. I told her I did but it was the same magazine. I would hide the New Yorker magazine inside the Watchtower magazine and read the longest article. That would usually take the whole hour.

I always had excuses on why I missed so many meetings...work...sickness...appointments for my children. I think she knew I was lying but never questioned me.

The last three years she was so ill she only made it to 10 meetings. She was a stubborn woman. She tried to attend more meetings but couldn't walk any longer. She just sat in a chair and listened to the meetings over the phone.

THANK YOU MOM FOR LEAVING ME ALONE AND NEVER QUESTIONING ME WHY I STOPPED ATTENDING MEETINGS! I THINK YOU KNEW BUT DIDN'T WANT TO UPSET ME AND ARGUE WITH YOUR SON. THAT IS TRUE LOVE, MOM!

After 10 years do they give up on you (hoping so)

i think i read somewhere that if you have been inactive for ten years plus, the elders will not try to meet with you and corner you to get you back "in".

is that true?.

i just realized that mr. spiral and i haven't gone to meetings or reported time for over ten years.

The elders gave up on me 10 years ago. I have been inactive the last ten years and haven't attended any meetings in seven years.

The elders would hound me with telephone calls, bring Circuit Overseers and District Overseers when they were in town for the assemblies. Since I have over 20 Jehovah's Witnesses in my family, I always knew when they were in town. I did not answer the phone or the door. If they made a surprise visit, my wife would always answer the door and tell them I wasn't home.

My family ( brother, aunts, uncles and cousins ) all leave me alone. They still talk to me, have me over their house and go on 2 day getaways with them. They never ask me why I don't attend any longer or if/when I'll come back.

I do go some wake/funerals/ funeral memorials and everyone leaves me alone. The elders do shake my hand and have small talk but I leave as soon as the small talk is over.

I did have one self-righteous asshole elder last year at my moms funeral ( she was a Jehovah's Witness for over 45 years) say to me ( with my wife standing next to me) as he was leaving the funeral home.....''If you want to see your mom in the new system, you will both need to go back to the meetings''...and walked away. THE ODDS ARE SLIM TO NONE...... !
